You are smart enough to know that in this world, it is tough to search the internet without stumbling upon an adult website. The sad thing is it is hard even if you are intentionally trying to avoid these sites. If you have children at home it is very important you protect their eyes from viewing a site that should not be viewed. Once you are done reading this article, you will learn the methods you can use to make sure you child does not see any of these websites.

1-Change Your Search Setting To A Heavy Filter

Even though changing your search settings will not actually filter websites, they will block certain websites from showing up in the search engine. This helps a lot because when most kids are browsing the web they do it through search engines. If you do not know how to change your settings it is easy. On most search engines, you just go into the preferences and click on the heavy filter button. Make sure you do a few searches to test out whether or not it worked.

2-Get a filtering software like Net Nanny

Have you ever heard of a website filtering device called Net Nanny? If not you are in for a treat. Net Nanny will actually allow you to filter websites based off of what you want filtered. But one of the best parts about this program is the fact that it doesn’t stop there. If you want you can also monitor your child’s use on facebook, myspace, and almost any instant messenger.

3-Use Pure Site if Net Nanny is too expensive

I know there are some people out there who are just looking for an inexpensive way to monitor what their children are looking at. If that is you then a program called Pure Sight is perfect. The reason it is much cheaper than Net Nanny is because you are not able to monitor the social networking sites or the instant messaging. However, it does do a great job blocking almost all adult websites.

If you are searching for an Internet Access Control that will allow you to monitor your computer all you have to do is check out http://InternetAccessControl.info
